The volunteers of ERAD (ERAD - Association of Friends of Emergency Medical Department - Schneider) -

Help, support and get a lot of satisfaction

ERAD volunteers are present at the MALRAD (ER) for every need of the, families, children, staff and doctors.

They accompany the many professionals and help them with various missions such as assisting parents and companions who need support.

Another one of their roles is making it easier for the children themselves, whether by bringing equipment such as blankets and sheets, taking tests to the laboratory or by calming the parents and the children.

The presence of ERAD volunteers is welcome and appreciated. They feel a great satisfaction since they are taking an important part in the main mission of the MALRAD - saving lives and taking care of children and their families.

Donations to the trauma unit

Among the other needs of the Medical Center, the ERAD Association and the Management of the Medical Center are currently working to obtain budgets and donations for the purpose of expanding the MALRAD (ER) and for the establishment of a Trauma Unit.

After summing up the 2022 activity year, we noticed that there was an increase of approximately 4000 patient inquiries compared to the previous year.

A fact that obliges us to prepare accordingly, purchase additional equipment, increase standards, training and expand the above-mentioned MALRAD.
